Bond plastics, wood and painted or primed metal surfaces with 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EPX™ Polyurethane Adhesive DP609. Our fast curing, flexible structural adhesive has great strain capability, high toughness and ability to retain high strength over a wide temperature range.

Retain high strength over a wide range of temperatures with 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EPX™ Polyurethane Adhesive DP609. Our quick curing, non-sag, flexible structural, polyurethane adhesive secures plastics, wood and painted or primed metal surfaces. It’s non-sag properties make it suitable for vertical surfaces and gap filling applications. It has high strain capability and superior toughness. After application from a cartridge, the adhesive has a work life before contact with another surface for about nine minutes. It develops handling strength in roughly one hour. Full strength builds up over 24 hours and there can be further strength build up over longer periods e.g. up to 30 days on some plastics. It has the potential to replace mechanical and fusion fastening in many applications.
