Seating for aerospace

Like everything else, the demand for aircraft seating trends toward lighter, stronger, more versatile – and more efficient in production. 3M’s aircraft solutions can help. We combine our broad industrial expertise and offer it to aerospace interior manufacturing. Our aerospace adhesives meet longstanding specifications for aircraft interiors. We have continually introduced new capabilities for applications such as first-class surrounds, including thermoplastic bonding, fixtureless bracket bonding and high-strength, low-density potting compounds. We provide adhesives formulated for splicing and reinforcement, critical for seating components made of phenolic panels with honeycomb cores. This is in addition to a range of contact adhesives, advanced materials for lightweight thermoplastic fabrication and reclosable fastening systems for seating applications throughout the aircraft.
