The easy to use CMP (closed mixing and pouring) system enables jointing in only four easy steps; low risk of skin-to-resin contact, no need to cut the mould body to fit to the cable and no need to tape the mould body ends for sealing.

When cable jointing is necessary during installation, resin kits are the solution of choice. They provide mechanical protection and electrical insulation when used in outdoor and indoor applications. Resin mixing and pouring is critical and this must be simple, fast and clean.

New 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 4 GS with Colour Indicator

Introducing the new 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 4 GS.

This CMR free electrical jointing resin has a unique colour mixing indicator. This indicator makes it possible for installers to know when the resin is correctly mixed. Scotchcast™ Resin 4 GS comes in a 2-part transparent bag with integrated pouring spout, ensuring mess-free effortless application. The high-performing formulation means the resin cures even in the presence of water. Rapid installation, immediate re-energisation and ease of use it makes this the first choice in electrical cable jointing.

Easy to use 3M Resin

Optimised CMP (closed mixing and pouring) system

Our CMP (closed mixing and pouring) system is a clean, user-friendly solution for mixing and pouring resin. 3M Scotchcast™ resins comes in transparent two-chamber bags. One chamber contains the resin, the other the curing agent. By opening the seam between the chambers, the two components can be mixed manually to form the resin, ready to pour into the mould body of the cable joint.

Introducing the 3M™ Scotchcast™ Easy Dispenser Resin 250

Reliable and easy to use re-enterable electrical insulation solution. Suitable for outdoor low voltage cable installations such as swimming pools and lighting. The dispenser provides easy to apply, Scotchcast™ Re-enterable Resin 2123 to electrical connections. Quick accessibility for testing in areas requiring high humidity performance
