3M™ VHB™ TapesCombining the strength and reliability of an acrylic adhesive with the conformability of an acrylic foam core, our 3M™ VHB™ Tapes bring a unique balance of performance to information displays:
- Shock and Vibration Control: this viscoelastic material absorbs shocks and relax stress for better impact resistance, cyclic fatigue resistance and greater design flexibility
- Bonding: Strong adhesion strength and heat resistance
- Premium sealing: 100% closed-cell construction to seal out contaminants, moisture and chemicals
- Tape format: Convenient to use and can be die-cut to pre-formed shapes
3M™ VHB™ Tape 5952 Family:Very conformable acrylic foam core tapes deliver a great balance of adhesion on a variety of substrates, impact resistance and sealing properties.
3M™ VHB™ Tape 4941 Family:These conformable acrylic foam core tapes feature good static shear properties for superior holding power.

3M™ Liquid AdhesivesWith plenty of strength even for bond lines below 0.5mm wide, our liquid urethane adhesives are excellent for thin device designs and assemblies. These one-part adhesives deliver the reworkability of a PUR – often critical for recovery of valuable displays – but can be laminated as a PSA for immediate handling strength.

3M™ Optically Clear Adhesives

Our Contrast Enhancement Films (CEF) are highly specialised, optically clear adhesive films that deliver excellent clarity and adhesion to transparent substrates. ITO compatible and featuring pressure-sensitive adhesive, they are designed specifically for applications requiring soft contrast enhancement films for filling thick ink step or lens border frames. Specialised optically clear adhesives are available in die-cut parts.

Display Component Bonding
Our wide array of tape solutions combines the simplicity of pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) with strength, conformability, anti-lift properties, impact resistance and optical clarity. Many of our instrument panel adhesive tapes are suitable for difficult-to-bond surfaces including polycarbonate, polyamides and polyethylene terephthalate.

3M™ Impact Resistant Adhesive Transfer Tapes 95000 Series and Double Coated Tapes 95100 SeriesFormulated specifically for higher resistance to impact – maintaining critical stability at expressway speeds – these tapes have excellent vibration damping and are very conformable, enabling flexibility in design. They also combine high peel adhesion with high bonding strength to a wide variety of materials, so electronic displays and components can more easily withstand the constant jostling and impact the road hands out.

It is so clear, it practically disappears – the tape delivers 90% light transmission with only 1.1% haze, ideal for display screens and touchscreens throughout the information display system. Ultra-clear tape features a polyester film carrier for dimensional stability and a high-tack adhesive for good shear holding power.
