The companies will host a joint stand – number H80 – at the event, which runs from 19 to 20 September at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.

It comes after 3M acquired Scott Safety in 2017, expanding 3M’s already extensive range of personal protective equipment (PPE) to create a comprehensive offering for emergency service workers and other professionals.

The company’s product line-up now includes self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) systems, portable gas detection, bumpcap escape apparatus and thermal imaging, among other innovative devices used to protect firefighters, police, military personnel, homeland security forces and rescue teams around the world.

At the exhibition stand, 3M will showcase these devices, as well as everything from respiratory, hearing, communications and fall protection solutions to safety eyewear and coveralls. Experts will be on hand to answer visitors’ questions.

Highlights will include the award-winning Scott Sight – the world’s first in-mask thermal intelligence system – a market leading range of portable gas detection solutions and Peltor protective communication headsets by 3M.

Karis Higson, segment marketing executive for the 3M Personal Safety division, said: “We’re excited that 3M and Scott Safety will be exhibiting ‘As One’ at The Emergency Services Show this year, allowing us to showcase our newly expanded offering to this industry for the first time.

“We look forward to speaking with new and existing contacts at what is sure to be a great event, so I encourage visitors to stop by our stand.”
